Determining Information Requirements

The first place to look in determining information requirements is the assignment for your essay.  This section will guide you through determining the amount and kinds of information you will need to meet the requirements the assignment sets forth.

2. Based on the tasks outlined in the assignment, what kinds of information will you need? This includes questions of currency/recency or historical perspective of information, geographic coverage,  information from particular types of publications, primary v. secondary sources, and format?
